Dr. Katelin Kowalkowski PT, DPT, CCRT

Canine Physical Therapist

Hi, I'm Katelin! 👋🏼

I'm the founder of Big Stretch Canine Physical Therapy, and I'm here to help your dog move better so you can enjoy more of life together.

I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Carroll University in 2024. While in my DPT program, I completed my certification in canine rehabilitation through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute, so I could start treating both humans and dogs right away!

Before transitioning to full-time canine physical therapy, I also pursued additional training in pelvic health, myofascial and visceral mobilization, and additional education in canine-specific conditioning for both the working and sporting dog.

My approach combines hands-on physical therapy with thorough movement assessment and individualized, evidence-based treatment plans to help your dog build strength, improve mobility, and feel confident in their body again. And because Big Stretch is a mobile practice, I bring that care right to you - where your dog is most comfortable and where we can work with the things they actually do every day.

Whether we're working toward a return to their favorite activity, helping them stay active as they age, or simply making everyday movement easier, we'll build a plan around your dog and life together.
